Case Study · Website Transformation
A complete digital transformation for Tigner Insurance & Associates. We took the agency’s 31-page WordPress site and rebuilt the experience as one fast, mobile-first page - without changing what makes Tigner a family business Central Valley clients trust.
Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. Six things stood between the agency and the families searching for it.
Every core page was last touched in 2023, the newest blog post is from December 2024, and two visible typos sit on the pages people read first.
A 3.2MB homepage built on a single 1.56MB stylesheet the phone has to download before anything appears.
Two of the homepage’s own “Read More” buttons go nowhere. No booking calendar, no live chat, no way to text the business line.
9 real Google reviews, 4.9 stars average - and not one of them appears anywhere on the site.
Every page we checked is missing a meta description, and listings are only about half-consistent across the 33 directories that carry the business.
5 FAQ answers structured for machines, and no llms.txt file telling AI assistants who the business is.
We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.
Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - the FAQ schema, the page volume, the robots.txt and sitemap Yoast builds automatically - the table says so.
The left side is Tigner’s old website. The right side is the redesign, live right now. These are the real sites, not screenshots - judge the transformation yourself.
The homepage. Every page below got the same treatment - tap any page to compare it full screen.
Tap a page to open the full-screen comparison - live sites, drag to reveal.
So the redesign was built for the phone first. Both screens below are the real sites, loaded live at phone size - not screenshots.
On the new site, every action above is one tap from the homepage - a real phone number, a live booking calendar, and a chat widget. The old site offered a phone number and a form.
Anyone can make a website prettier. The layer underneath - the one Google, Siri and ChatGPT actually read - is where this redesign does its quietest work.
What most businesses have and never know it
What we give every client
We didn’t just redesign what people see.
We rebuilt what Google and AI systems see too.
Every figure above was counted on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. We don’t promise rankings - nobody honestly can. We build sites that search engines and AI assistants can actually read, which is what rankings are built on.
Here is what was actually delivered inside the 48 hours.
One page, 8 sections, built around Tigner’s brand - not a template with new colors.
Layouts and chat built for the phone first, where most families will find the agency.
A free 15-minute coverage review, self-scheduled on a real calendar - no phone tag.
A chat widget on every screen - a channel the old site never had.
The agency’s own 4.9-star Google reviews, quoted on the homepage.
Title, description, canonical and a single clean page for search engines to parse.
Business type, address, hours and specialties written in the format Google reads.
A 50-question FAQ and an llms.txt file so AI assistants can quote the agency correctly.
The old site also listed investment products - IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s and annuities - across six more pages. The new homepage narrows to the agency’s three core specialties, in the client’s own words: “plenty of agencies list every product under the sun - we specialize.” Those investment pages were not part of this build.
Instead of listing every product under the sun, the new site gives each of Tigner’s real specialties its own place to sell itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.
Each card above opens a real page from the old site next to the section that replaced it on the new one.
No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.
