Legacy Financial Group Case Study · Website Transformation

From dated to lead-ready.

A complete digital rebuild for Legacy Financial Group, an independent insurance brokerage. We took the agency’s existing website and rebuilt the entire experience from the ground up - without changing what the agency itself does.

The Challenge

Legacy Financial had real clients.
Its website wasn’t built to earn more of them.

Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. Six things stood between the agency and the families looking for it.

Dated visual experience

A generic template look that didn’t build the trust a financial services brand needs before someone hands over their information.

Weak mobile experience

Important information and actions weren’t optimized for the phone, where most quote requests start.

Limited conversion paths

One phone number and a quote form, with no text option and no consistent path from any given coverage page to a quote.

Underutilized content

Five coverage lines existed, but shared thin, near-identical copy with no FAQ or carrier comparison to back it up.

Search visibility gaps

The hidden layer search engines read never said “insurance agency” - no business type, no sitemap, no AI-facing file.

Not built for AI search

Coverage details and FAQs weren’t in a form AI assistants can read, so they had little to work with when someone asked about the agency.

The Audit

Before we touched a pixel, we measured.

We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.

Area
Original site
Rebuilt site
Tells Google it’s an insurance agency
No business type declared - generic labels only
InsuranceAgency, address, phone, agent roster
Coverage lines machines can read
Five pages to look at, invisible as data
5 Service schemas, one per coverage line
Answers AI can quote
No FAQ schema anywhere on the site
36 structured Q&A, 5 on the homepage alone
Agents machines can read
Founder named in text, no structured data
7 licensed agents, each with Person schema
Page descriptions
Present on 13 of 15 pages - credit where due
20 of 20 pages, no gaps
Canonical URLs
Missing on every page
20 of 20 pages
Sitemap & robots.txt
Sitemap missing, robots.txt a real file with zero directives
Real sitemap (20 URLs), robots.txt allows and points to it
AI crawler file (llms.txt)
Missing
Present, describes the agency in plain language
Heading structure
13 of 15 pages clean - 2 pages have no H1 at all
20 of 20 pages, exactly one H1
Homepage code weight
70,691 bytes of HTML
36,565 bytes - about half
Image alt text
227 of 228 images described - credit where due
162 of 228 described so far - a known follow-up

Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - most page descriptions, strong image alt text - the table says so. Where the new site still has room to improve, the table says that too.

On the new site, the agency’s number dials directly from any page, and every coverage page links straight to a free quote - no hunting through a menu first.

The Scope

This wasn’t a new coat of paint.

Here is what was actually delivered inside the 24 hours.

Complete redesign

All 20 pages designed around the agency’s own brand - not a template with new colors.

Structured data foundation

InsuranceAgency, WebSite, BreadcrumbList, Service, FAQPage, Person, OfferCatalog and ContactPage schema across the site.

CRM-ready quote form

A coverage-type selector, a real date of birth field and text-message consent, built to drop straight into the agency’s own system so leads land in one place.

7 licensed agent profiles

Each agent gets a dedicated bio page with their own Person schema.

5 dedicated coverage pages

Life, Final Expense, Medicare, Annuities and Long-Term Care - each with its own FAQ.

Technical SEO foundation

Titles, descriptions, headings and canonicals on every page.

Sitemap, robots.txt & llms.txt

20 pages a search engine or an AI assistant can actually find and read.

Mobile-first, click-to-call

Layouts built for the phone first, with the agency’s number one tap away on every page.

Built for the Actual Business

One agency. Every kind of coverage.

Instead of one shared products page, each coverage line now has its own place to sell itself, with its own FAQ. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.

Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content, its own FAQ and its own path to a quote.

Launch Readiness

Ready for launch.

No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.

Complete responsive redesign - all 20 pages, desktop and mobile
5 coverage pages rebuilt - Life, Final Expense, Medicare, Annuities, LTC
Quote form rebuilt - date of birth, all 5 coverage types, CRM-ready

Sitemap, robots.txt & llms.txt live - all 20 pages discoverable
Click-to-call in place - the agency’s number, one tap from any page

The Math

What would a project like this
normally require?

Published industry pricing puts a professionally built independent-agent insurance website at $5,000 to $15,000+, on timelines of up to 8 weeks - and that’s before hosting and every future edit are billed on top.
