Lacque House Case Study · Built From Zero

From no website to a complete digital experience.

Lacque House didn’t have a website. Not an old one, not a dated one - none at all. Launch Automation built a 21-page site and, alongside it, a custom in-salon Experience App - a digital color catalog and drink-ordering tablet built specifically for Lacque House.

The Starting Point

Lacque House had guests.
It just didn’t have a website.

This wasn’t a redesign. There was nothing to redesign. Here is what that actually meant, day to day.

No web presence at all

Instagram and word of mouth carried the business - the domain lacque.house led nowhere.

No online booking

Booking meant a text, a call or a DM - and hoping someone answered before the chair filled up.

No published prices

A guest couldn’t see a single price before walking in the door.

Invisible to search & AI

Nothing declared Lacque House as a nail salon in the hidden layer Google and AI assistants read - because nothing existed to declare it.

600 bottles, no way to browse

Choosing a color meant scanning a physical wall - or asking a stylist to hold up option after option.

Nothing built for a phone

No mobile experience, because there was no experience to make mobile.

What We Measured

There was no old site to compare against.
So the “before” column is just true.

Every row on the right was measured on the live site and app. Every row on the left is simply what did not exist yet.

The Build drag the divider!

There was nothing to put on the left.
So we said so - drag to see what replaced it.

The right side is the real, live site, playing right now. Nothing on the left is a screenshot of an old website, because none existed.

No Website Existedlacque.house didn’t resolve to anything before this build. Instagram and word of mouth were the entire digital presence.

The Experience App

A website wasn’t the only thing missing.

Alongside the 21-page site, Launch Automation built Lacque House a second product: a custom, installable tablet app that lives in the salon itself - a searchable catalog of 600 real nail shades and a drink menu that routes straight to a guest’s seat. No site-redesign template includes this. It was built specifically for Lacque House.

it’s live  That’s the real app, running right now - not a mockup.

600 Shades, Searchable A pink shade from the Experience App's 600-shade catalog 14 color families, 55 subfamilies - every shade named and numbered.
Preview On Your Shape A blue shade from the Experience App's 600-shade catalog 4 preview modes across 6 nail shapes, plus a side-by-side compare.
Order From Your Seat A matcha drink ordered through the Experience App 7 complimentary drinks, fully customizable, routed to your station.
Built For The Tablet A lemonade drink ordered through the Experience App Installs like a native app, caches for salon wifi, and stays fast between guests.
Mobile First

For most guests, the first look
happens on a phone.

So the site was built for the phone first. The left screen shows what a phone found before this build - nothing. The right screen is the live site itself, loaded at phone size.

The Scope

Two products, not one.

Here is what was actually delivered - a full website and a custom app, built as one relationship.

Complete site build

21 pages designed around the Lacque House brand - not a template with new colors.

Custom Experience App

A native-feeling, installable PWA built specifically for the salon’s own tablets.

Real-time booking

Live availability by artist, wired in from any page on the site.

Conversion architecture

Book, call, text and directions - one tap from every page.

Technical SEO foundation

Titles, descriptions, canonicals, sitemap and robots directives on all 21 pages.

Local search structure

Business type, both locations, hours and geolocation written in the format Google reads.

AI-readable answers

A 20-question FAQ and a full llms.txt manifest, structured so assistants can quote them.

AI-search readiness

An explicit, 48-crawler AI & search policy - most sites never write one at all.

Built for the Actual Business

One salon. Every way to engage with it.

Instead of one generic homepage, the site gives each part of the business its own place to work. Tap any of them to open the real, live page.

Each card above is a real, live page on the site - tap it to open it full screen.

The Math

What would two separate projects
like this normally cost?

Published industry pricing puts a custom multi-page small business website at $6,000 to $12,000 over 4 to 6 weeks, and a small custom tablet app at $15,000 to $40,000 over 6 to 8 weeks - usually from two separate vendors, with hosting and every future edit billed on top of both.

The traditional route

Two vendors, billed separately

Website design & development

SEO setup

A separate agency for the app

Hosting - for both

Maintenance - for both

Every future edit, on both

Launch Automation

SeparateExperience App, priced independently

This build paired a full multi-page website with a custom in-salon tablet app - two products most agencies would price, and deliver, separately.

How It Works

Starting from zero, or replacing something old? Three steps.

1

Tell us about your business

No existing site required. Tell us what you do and who you serve - that’s the whole assignment.

2

We design and build everything

The site, the structured data, and - when it fits the business - a custom app, built around what you actually do.

3

Review privately, then go live

You see everything at a private link before anything goes live to the public.

What could we build for your business?
