Case Study · Website Transformation
A complete digital transformation for Pretty Hands. We took Jameka Young’s existing website and rebuilt the entire experience from the ground up - without changing what makes Pretty Hands, Pretty Hands.
Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. Six things stood between Pretty Hands and the clients looking for it.
A generic template look that didn’t reflect the quality of the actual work - real client photos were buried instead of leading the page.
Most clients book from a phone, and important information and actions weren’t presented optimally for that screen.
Booking, pricing and directions weren’t consistently positioned as obvious next steps on every page.
Gel-X, pedicures, reflexology and the full service menu all lived crammed onto one homepage - none had a page of its own.
The hidden layer search engines read never said “nail salon” - no service list, no prices, no service area.
Services, hours and prices weren’t in a form AI assistants can read, so they had little to work with when someone asked for a nail salon nearby.
We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.
Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - canonicals, sitemap, robots, even an AI-facing llms.txt file - the table says so.
The left side is Pretty Hands’ old website. The right side is the redesign, playing its video right now. These are the real sites, not screenshots - judge the transformation yourself.
The homepage. Every page got the same treatment - tap any page below to compare it full screen.
Tap a page to open the full-screen comparison - live sites, video playing, drag to reveal. The old site crammed most of this onto one homepage; the new site gives each its own page.
The old site showed a still photo for a service, if it showed anything at all. The new site plays video for every service instead - Gel-X, pedicures, reflexology and more, 12 videos in total (35 files once you count desktop, mobile and format variants). Drag the example, then tap any picture to see the same comparison.
watch it come alive Reflexology. Left: a text flyer on the old site. Right: the new site’s reflexology page, video playing.
So the redesign was built for the phone first. The left screen is a same-day capture of the old site at iPhone size. The right screen is the new site itself, loaded live at phone size - video playing.

On the new site, every action above is one tap from any page - booking through Booksy, directions straight into Google Maps, and a phone number that calls or texts.
Anyone can make a website prettier. The layer underneath - the one Google, Siri and ChatGPT actually read - is where this redesign does its quietest work.
What most businesses have and never know it
What we give every client
We didn’t just redesign what people see.
We rebuilt what Google and AI systems see too.
Every figure above was counted on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. We don’t promise rankings - nobody honestly can. We build sites that search engines and AI assistants can actually read, which is what rankings are built on.
Here is what was actually delivered inside the 48 hours.
All 18 pages designed around the Pretty Hands brand - not a template with new colors.
Layouts tuned separately for small screens, where most clients book from.
Booksy booking, call, text and directions - positioned on every page.
Meka’s own client work and product photography, organized into a real gallery.
12 videos, one matched to every service (35 files across desktop, mobile and format variants), replace the static photos across the site.
Titles, descriptions, headings, canonicals, sitemap and robots directives on every page.
Business type, address, hours and a 14-city service area written in the format Google reads.
The service menu, hours and a 25-question FAQ structured so assistants can quote them.
Instead of treating Pretty Hands like a generic salon, the new site gives each service its own place to sell itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.
Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content, its own video and its own path to book.
No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.
