Case Study · Website Transformation
A complete website rebuild for Lion Insurance. We took the agency’s aging template site and rebuilt it around the one thing an insurance shopper actually checks first: whether the person on the other end is real, licensed and easy to reach.
Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. Six things stood between the agency and the people searching for it.
A thin outline headline and a stock photo of a family in a field - the same visual language as thousands of other small-business sites.
The homepage’s “Health Coverage for Everyone” carousel repeats word for word on 6 of the 9 pages - including the ones built for business owners and financial professionals.
No license number, no headshot, no way to check the person you’d be trusting with a policy before you called.
On a phone, the top navigation wraps into three crowded lines before you ever reach the headline.
robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt all return “File Not Found” - and there is no structured data of any kind, on any page.
Only 9 of 38 images (24%) carry alt text search engines can read.
We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.
Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - a responsive viewport tag, a phone number and a form on every page - the table says so.
The left side is Lion Insurance’s old website. The right side is the redesign, live right now. These are the real sites, not screenshots - judge the transformation yourself.
The homepage. Every page below got the same treatment - tap any page to compare it full screen.
The contact form on the new site isn’t a plain HTML form. It’s a GoHighLevel widget wired straight into the agency’s CRM, so a message doesn’t just sit in an inbox - it triggers the same automations the $197/month plan runs. The /apply page carries nine more of them, one per product, each with its own five-question FAQ built in.
Tap a page to open the full-screen comparison - live sites, drag to reveal.
So the redesign was built for the phone first. The left panel is a same-day capture of the old site; the right panel is the real new site, loaded live at phone size and scrolling through itself - not a static image.

On the new site, every action above is one tap from the homepage - a real phone number, a live booking calendar, and a 60-second application. The old site offered a phone number and a form, and its own navigation wrapped into three lines before you reached any of it.
Anyone can make a website look nicer. The layer underneath - the one Google, Siri and ChatGPT actually read - is where this redesign does its quietest work.
What most small-business sites are missing without knowing it
What we give every client
We didn’t just redesign what people see.
We rebuilt what Google and AI systems see too.
Every figure above was counted on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. We don’t promise rankings - nobody honestly can. We build sites that search engines and AI assistants can actually read, which is what rankings are built on.
Here is what was actually delivered inside the 24 hours.
7 real pages, including a rich single-scroll homepage, built around the broker - not a template with new colors.
A layout that doesn’t wrap the navigation into three lines on a phone.
10 GoHighLevel-powered forms - 1 general contact widget and 9 product-specific applications, each routing straight into the agency’s automations.
A 50-question FAQ, tagged so ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google can quote it directly.
InsuranceAgency and Person schema with a real license number, address and service area.
Unique titles and descriptions on every page, a real sitemap, and one H1 per page.
2 short videos - a will & testament kit and an inflation guide - that turn a visit into an email address.
The $197/month covers hosting, the CRM and the automations that follow up on every lead - not just the website.
Three real client testimonials, already published on the new site - quoted here exactly as they appear.
Alek made the whole thing feel easy from the first phone call. He explained every option in plain English, never rushed me, and helped me pick coverage that actually fit my budget. I finally feel confident my family is protected.Jessica M.Glendale, California
I kept putting off life insurance because I assumed it would be complicated and pushy. Alek walked me through what made sense for my situation, handled the paperwork, and followed up after everything was in place. Easier than I ever expected.Carlos R.Small Business Owner, Los Angeles
Working with Alek felt like talking to someone who genuinely cares. He listened to what our family actually needed, answered every question without any pressure, and made a big decision feel a whole lot less stressful.Anna T.Burbank, California
