Case Study · Website Transformation
A complete digital transformation for IKON New York. We took the venue’s existing website and rebuilt the entire experience from the ground up - without changing what makes the venue IKON.
Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. Six things stood between the venue and the guests looking for it.
The website didn’t reflect the energy, atmosphere or quality of the actual venue - nearly three hundred disco balls deserve a website with the same energy.
Important information and actions weren’t presented optimally for the phone, where a first impression usually happens.
Reservations, menus, events and directions weren’t consistently positioned as obvious next steps on every page.
The venue’s food, nightlife and events weren’t being visually sold - the packages page didn’t list the packages.
The hidden layer search engines read never said “restaurant” - no cuisine, no menu data, no hours, no events.
Hours, menu and prices weren’t in a form AI assistants can read, so they had little to work with when recommending the venue.
We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.
Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - canonicals, page titles, even an AI-facing llms.txt file - the table says so.
The left side is IKON’s old website. The right side is the redesign, playing its video right now. These are the real sites, not screenshots - judge the transformation yourself.
The homepage. Every page got the same treatment - tap any page below to compare it full screen.
Tap a page to open the full-screen comparison - live sites, video playing, drag to reveal.
IKON’s existing photography became the foundation for cinematic motion across the new website - 175 video files in total - so visitors feel the atmosphere before they ever walk through the door. Drag the example, then tap any picture to see its photo-to-video transformation.
watch it come alive The Room. Left: the still photo. Right: the same room in motion.
So the redesign was built for the phone first. The left screen is a same-day capture of the old site at iPhone size. The right screen is the new site itself, loaded live at phone size - video playing.

On the new site, every action above is one tap from any page - reservations through Resy, directions straight into Google Maps, and a phone number that dials.
Anyone can make a website prettier. The layer underneath - the one Google, Siri and ChatGPT actually read - is where this redesign does its quietest work.
What most businesses have and never know it
What we give every client
We didn’t just redesign what people see.
We rebuilt what Google and AI systems see too.
Every figure above was counted on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. We don’t promise rankings - nobody honestly can. We build sites that search engines and AI assistants can actually read, which is what rankings are built on.
Here is what was actually delivered inside the 48 hours.
All 20 pages designed around the IKON brand - not a template with new colors.
Layouts tuned separately for small screens, where first impressions are usually made.
Reserve, call, text, directions, menus and party booking - positioned on every page.
The venue’s own food, drink and room photography, enhanced and recomposed.
175 video files created from the venue’s own stills and footage - no film crew, no shoot day.
Titles, descriptions, headings, canonicals, sitemap and robots directives on every page.
Business type, address, hours, price range and cuisines written in the format Google reads.
The menu, events, hours and a 26-question FAQ structured so assistants can quote them.
Instead of treating IKON like a generic restaurant, the new site gives each revenue-producing part of the business its own place to sell itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.
Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content, its own video and its own path to book.
No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.
