FaciliSite Services Case Study · Website Buildout

From one blank page to
a business built to be found.

FaciliSite Services is a facility and construction services company in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Its website was a single page: a name, a tagline and a contact form. We built a real one - eighteen pages, in twelve hours - without changing what FaciliSite actually does.

The Challenge

FaciliSite is a real business.
Its website said nothing about it.

Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site - all of it, which took about a minute. Six things stood between FaciliSite and the property managers and GCs looking for it.

No services listed

The word “maintenance” never appeared on the site. Neither did “construction,” “build-out” or anything describing the actual work.

No way to reach the business

No phone number, no email address, no map. A name-and-email form was the entire path to contact.

Nothing to prove the work

Not one photo of a job site, a crew or a finished space. The one image on the page was a stock aerial photo, not licensed to the business.

Zero conversion paths

Whatever a visitor needed - a repair, a build-out, a multi-site program - the only next step was the same generic form.

Invisible to search

The hidden layer search engines read never said what kind of business this is - no services, no address, no hours.

Not built for AI search

No FAQ, no service data, no hours - an assistant asked about facility maintenance in Fairfield County had nothing to work with.

The Audit

Before we touched a pixel, we measured.

We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.

Area

Tells Google what the business does
No business type declared - a name and a tagline

No services published at all
3 core services, structured as data
Ways to reach the business
A name-and-email form. No phone, no address, no map
Call, text, a routed request form and a map, on every page
Answers AI can quote
No FAQ existed
50 structured questions and answers
Photos & video
Zero images anywhere on the site
83 images and videos, 98.8% with descriptions Google can read
Video content
None
13 video scenes, 26 encoded files
Heading structure
The same heading rendered twice on the one page
One clean H1 on every page measured
Page titles & descriptions
One generic title, no description at all
18 unique titles and descriptions
Canonical URLs, sitemap, robots
Present (platform defaults, even an AI llms.txt)
Unique canonical and sitemap entry per page

Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - a working robots.txt, a sitemap, even an AI-facing llms.txt file, all GoDaddy defaults - the table says so.

The Transformation drag the divider!

Drag the divider. Both sides are live.

The left side is a saved copy of FaciliSite’s old website. The right side is the redesign, live right now. These are the real sites, not mockups - judge the transformation yourself.

Photos → Video

There was nothing before. Now there’s video everywhere.

FaciliSite’s old site had zero photography and zero video. The new site was built with 13 video scenes - 26 files across desktop and mobile - so a visitor sees real facility and construction work before they ever pick up the phone. Drag the example, then tap any scene below to see it play.

Mobile First

For most callers, the first look
happens on a phone.

So the redesign was built for the phone first. The left screen is a saved copy of the old site at iPhone size. The right screen is the new site itself, loaded live at phone size.

On the new site, every action above is one tap from any page - a phone number that dials, a text that opens pre-filled, directions straight into Google Maps, and a routed request form that reaches the business.

The Scope

This wasn’t a new coat of paint.

Here is what was actually delivered inside the 12 hours.

Complete site build

18 pages built from one - a page for every service, the process, the service area, the FAQ and the business itself.

Custom mobile experience

Layouts tuned separately for small screens, where a first impression is usually made.

Working lead-capture system

Call, text, a routed request form and a map - positioned on every page.

A complete visual foundation

Real photography and video of facility and construction work - none of it existed on the old site.

Cinematic video

13 video scenes, 26 files across desktop and mobile - no film crew, no shoot day.

Technical SEO foundation

Titles, descriptions, headings, canonicals, sitemap and robots directives on every page.

Local search structure

Business type, address, hours and 8 towns written in the format Google reads.

AI-readable answers

The services, the process and a 50-question FAQ structured so assistants can quote them.

Built for the Actual Business

One business. Three services, each with its own page.

Instead of treating FaciliSite like a generic contractor page, the new site gives each service, and the process behind it, its own place to explain itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.

Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content, its own video and its own path to request service.
