Case Study · Website Transformation
A complete digital transformation for Inwood Bar & Grill. We took the bar’s existing website and rebuilt the entire experience from the ground up - without changing what makes it Inwood’s spot for the game, the wings, and the 4 AM last call.
Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. Six things stood between the bar and the people searching for it.
A stock bar-website template, not a site that felt like this specific bar on this specific corner of Broadway.
The homepage carried 13 H1 headings at once - a page with no single main topic search engines can point to.
5 of the old site's 8 pages had no meta description at all - the rest shared just 2 values between them.
Real food and drink photography existed - it just never moved. Nothing on the site showed the room, the bar or a plate the way being there does.
“Group Reservations and Private Parties” was the entire page - a heading and a nav bar, no packages, no pricing signals, no reason to call.
No business type, no menu, no hours, in the hidden layer search engines and AI assistants actually read.
We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.
Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - full alt-text coverage on every image it had - the table says so.
The left side is a same-day, script-stripped capture of Inwood’s old website, served from our own files since the old site blocks being framed directly. The right side is the real redesign, playing its video right now. Judge the transformation yourself.
The homepage. Every page got the same treatment - tap any page below to compare it full screen.
Tap a page to open the full-screen comparison - live sites, video playing, drag to reveal.
These are real, live photos taken straight off Inwood’s old website - not enhanced, not touched up. Inwood’s own photography became the foundation for real motion across the new site - 49 video clips in total. Drag the example, then tap any dish to see its photo-to-video transformation.
watch it come alive The Wings. Left: the old site's own photo. Right: the same dish in motion on the new site.
So the redesign was built for the phone first. The left screen is a same-day, script-stripped capture of the old site, running live at iPhone width. The right screen is the new site itself, loaded live at phone size - video playing.
On the new site, calling, texting, emailing and finding the menu are one tap from every one of the 13 pages - not just the homepage.
Anyone can make a website prettier. The layer underneath - the one Google, Siri and ChatGPT actually read - is where this redesign does its quietest work.
What most businesses have and never know it
What we give every client
We didn’t just redesign what people see.
We rebuilt what Google and AI systems see too.
Every figure above was counted on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. We don’t promise rankings - nobody honestly can. We build sites that search engines and AI assistants can actually read, which is what rankings are built on.
Here is what was actually delivered inside the 48 hours.
All 13 pages designed around the bar itself - not a generic template with new colors.
Layouts tuned separately for small screens, where first impressions are usually made.
Call, text, email and the menu - positioned within one tap on every page.
121 dishes across 19 sections, 39 drinks across 8 - restructured for clarity, not just re-skinned.
49 video clips created from the bar’s own stills and footage - no film crew, no shoot day.
Titles, descriptions, single headings, canonicals and OG tags on every page.
Business type, address, hours, cuisines and rating data written in the format Google reads.
A 29-question FAQ structured so assistants can quote it - the old site had none at all.
Instead of treating Inwood like a generic restaurant, the new site gives each part of the business its own place to sell itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.
Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content, its own video and its own path to call.
No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.
