Case Study · Website Transformation
A complete digital transformation for Gradyful Fishing Charters, a Pompano Beach sportfishing operation run by Captain Shawn Safris. We took the business’s existing website and rebuilt the entire experience from the ground up - without changing the boat, the captain or the price of a trip.
Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. Six things stood between the boat and the guests looking for it.
The site works, but it reads like a generic charter-booking template - not a specific boat, captain and crew that guests already give 4.9 stars to.
Call, Text and Email Captain Shawn are stacked as three equal buttons on mobile - all doing the same job of starting a conversation.
Trip prices appear once, on the homepage, with no breakdown of shared versus private, and no page a guest could bookmark or send to a friend.
No boat spec page, no seasonal catch guide and no page for any of the eight nearby cities the boat actually serves.
The hidden layer search engines read never said “fishing charter business” - zero structured data on any of the eight pages we checked.
The site’s own AI-facing file (llms.txt) returns successfully but is completely empty, so an AI assistant asked about the business has nothing to read.
We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.
Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - like returning a real (if empty) robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt file, or handling decorative image alt text correctly - the table says so.
The left side is Gradyful’s old website. The right side is the redesign, live right now. These are the real sites, not screenshots - judge the transformation yourself.
The homepage. Every page got the same treatment - tap any page below to compare it full screen.
Tap a page to open the full-screen comparison - live sites, drag to reveal.
So the redesign was built for the phone first. The left screen is a same-day capture of the old site at real iPhone size. The right screen is the new site itself, loaded live at phone size.

On the new site, every action above is one tap from any page - a phone number that dials, a text link that opens with the message already started, and directions straight into Google Maps.
Anyone can make a website prettier. The layer underneath - the one Google, Siri and ChatGPT actually read - is where this redesign does its quietest work.
What most businesses have and never know it
What we give every client
We didn’t just redesign what people see.
We rebuilt what Google and AI systems see too.
Every figure above was counted on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. We don’t promise rankings - nobody honestly can. We build sites that search engines and AI assistants can actually read, which is what rankings are built on.
Here is what was actually delivered inside the 24 hours.
All 19 pages designed around Gradyful’s own brand and boat - not a template with new colors.
Layouts tuned separately for small screens, where first impressions are usually made.
Call, text, trip pricing, directions and the FAQ - positioned on every page.
A dedicated page for each of the 8 cities the boat actually serves, none of which existed before.
Full specs on the 35ft Tiara sportfisher, and a season by season guide to what’s biting.
Titles, descriptions, headings, canonicals, sitemap and robots directives on every page.
Business type, address, phone and service area written in the format Google reads.
A 21-question FAQ and a full llms.txt business brief, structured so assistants can quote them.
Instead of treating Gradyful like a generic charter listing, the new site gives each part of the business its own place to sell itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.
Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content and its own path to book.
No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.
