The Challenge

Above All Else had real events to show.
Its website was still running the demo.

Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. Six things stood between the business and the clients looking for it.

Dated visual experience

The homepage ran the WordPress theme’s stock layout, and the Comedy Session page’s entire content was the words “Coming soon.”

Weak mobile experience

Key sections weren’t reliably reachable on a phone, where most people meet a DJ company for the first time.

Limited conversion paths

The booking page - the one built to turn interest into a date on the calendar - carried just 83 words and two images.

Leftover demo content

Real event photos sat next to placeholder podcast episodes and two fictional “hosts” still live from the theme’s demo library.

Search visibility gaps

The homepage’s structured data never says what kind of business it is - no business type, no service area, nothing for Google to read.

Not built for AI search

Hours, service area and pricing weren’t in a form AI assistants can read, and robots.txt blocked every crawler from the entire site.

The Audit

Before we touched a pixel, we measured.

We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.

Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - real event photos, working canonicals, an image alt-text rate just under half - the table says so.

The Transformation drag the divider!

Drag the divider. Both sides are live.

The left side is Above All Else Entertainment’s old website. The right side is the redesign, live right now. These are the real sites, not screenshots - judge the transformation yourself.

Mobile First

For most clients, the first look
happens on a phone.

So the redesign was built for the phone first. The left screen is a same-day, real mobile-emulated capture of the old site at iPhone size. The right screen is the new site itself, loaded live at phone size.

On the new site, calling and texting are one tap from any page, and checking a date or browsing services never takes more than one more.

The Scope

This wasn’t a new coat of paint.

Here is what was actually delivered inside the 24 hours.

Complete redesign

All 10 pages designed around Above All Else’s brand - not a template with new colors.

Custom mobile experience

Layouts tuned separately for small screens, where most people meet a DJ company for the first time.

Conversion architecture

Call, text, check a date and see services - positioned on every page.

Four dedicated service pages

DJ & Karaoke, Sound & Lighting, Live Entertainment and Live Streaming - each with its own page, not a shared paragraph.

Local search structure

Business type, address, hours and 13 service areas written in the format Google reads.

Technical SEO foundation

Titles, descriptions, headings, canonicals, sitemap and robots directives on every page.

AI-readable answers

A 41-question FAQ structured so assistants can quote it.

Demo content removed

Every leftover placeholder from the old theme - gone. Every page is real content.

Built for the Actual Business

One team. Every part of the event.

Instead of one thin services page trying to describe everything, the new site gives each part of the business its own place to sell itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.

Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content and its own path to book.

Launch Readiness

Ready for launch.

No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.
